The Heart of the Forest

Let me tell you an interesting story in a way. When I was a child, I often wander to a nearby forest in our farm. I don't really go far to the heart of the forest because I was a pathetic child, scared of what is out there. But there was one time, I saw my brother breaking my toys. I got mad and I almost broke his leg with a branch I was holding. I got scolded by my parents because of what I did so I left, went to the forest, crying. I cried a lot, I did not notice that I was going farther and farther from my family's farmlands and so I went to the heart of the forest without knowing until I heard something. I looked everywhere and I saw a crow making the sound, it was more like a warning. When I realize that I was lost, I tried to stay calm. Trying to remember what direction did I come from. I walked and walked, hoping to find the open. I got startled when I heard some rustling but I didn't bother to look because I thought it was just the wind. I got stuck in the forest for 41 minutes but then, I found my way out of the darkness of the woods. From time to time, I tried to forget about that place but I simply could not. It is one of the thing that keeps bothering me when I go to sleep until then...

At this age, I tried to find that place again, with some companions. We searched for it for 2 days but still couldn't find it. Without discovering it again, it will always bother me at night. So I decided to look for it again, alone. I looked and looked... but still, I had no luck. Until now, I am searching for that place. The valley of darkness.

The Yellow Brick Road

Hmmm... have you heard of the story of the Great and Powerful Wizard of Oz? In the story, the yellow brick road was the way to the success. You see... the wizard, when he was heading to the city of Oz, he encountered danger. He faced dangerous foes until he witnessed the sparkle of green glass, Oz. The story is simply telling us that if you chase success so desperately, there is always trouble ahead just waiting for you to face it. Life is like a game. If you don't chase success, you will never win. What a tiring game to play, right? Run for it!
